Jon Cazenave — Galerna

For ten years now, Jon Cazenave (ES, Basque Country, 1978) has developed a body of work whose starting point is the culture and identity of the Basque people. Nevertheless, as his research progresses, this theme is diluted and becomes more personal. In his work, there is a romantic element, where his image give a subjective and emotional interpretation of the surroundings. The photographs, created in an infinite number of ways, convey the explosive, fertile nature. (Érika Goyarrola)

After working for 5 years in the finance world, Jon Cazenave decided to move to Barcelona to study photography. He received the Fotopres grant from La Caixa in 2013.
